What to see in Cagliari
Cagliari is very rich in monuments and areas of interest.
On the top of another hill, stands the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Bonaria. The Basilica is an eighteenth-century neoclassical building overlooking the port, but the construction of the complex dates back to 1300. Near the Basilica there is the monumental cemetery, a park full of sculptures and historical burial. Moreover, from the B & B Ariosto, you can easily reach the Basilica of San Saturnino, patron of the city, the oldest religious building in Cagliari, consecrated in 1119.
The Roman amphitheatre dating back to the Imperial age, not far from Porta Cristina is one of the best known sites.
Not far from here was found the Punic necropolis of Tuvixeddu. Choosing what to see in Cagliari is very difficult but surely during the stay at the b & b Ariosto you have the opportunity to visit the city in all its beauty.
